My role included a full range of online marketing strategies, from traditional banner advertising and email marketing, to search engine marketing and promoting our brands via social media.

This involved having a thorough knowledge of the ever-growing number of casinos and never
ending changes within the online industry.

On a day-to-day basis I dealt with major marketing agencies throughout the US, Europe and Australia, implementing marketing strategies to acquire new players. Daily calls and face-toface meetings were required to set goals and objectives with agencies and ensure targets and ROI goals were met.

A large part of my role is very analytically based involving detailed reporting and optimising of campaigns on daily basis. This is involves using internal reporting systems and an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel to look deeper into the data and analyse where there might be issues with campaigns and where the problem lies in performance.

My role included:

• Working on a range of client accounts at the same time, often juggling various projects and deadlines

• Identifying the target audience for a particular media campaign and deciding how best to communicate to that audience

• Monitoring buying strategies

• Negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online

• Booking individual media spots, mailings, internet banners

• Ensuring that the adverts run accurately so the desired media message is seen and heard by consumers

• Client reporting and budget management with Internet marketing metrics: conversion

rate, click through rate, internal and external benchmarking, ROI analysis

• Supporting the development manager and other colleagues.

• Developing databases worldwide through online marketing (display, lead generation,

pop-unders, email campaigns)

• Coming up with new creative ideas to promote online and bring more traffic to websites.

• Building and implementing email marketing campaigns with profitable ROI

• Co-ordinating scheduling of campaigns and review to ensure on-time completion
