123 Travel Conferences is a company which offers a range of industry options which can be tailored to suit the niche market organisation, these organisations can be categorised in either business, legal and medical conferences. My intern experience at 123 Travel Conferences was amazing, i learnt so much and am eager to take the skills I have learnt from my volenteer position to a full-time position in a new environment. I had experiences working with event managment and client contact. I also worked with a linked charity called 'Maggie's Dreamcather', which needed media and promotion attention on a regular basis to keep up with funding. Throughout my 108 (required hours for one of my modules at university)I completed many tasks, these include: - Assisting with conference requirements. - Media Releases- Barefoot bowls, Buderum Hightea, Jewellery event 'Maggie's Dreamcatcher'. - Monthly Newsletter Submission. - Presentation for Medical on Second. - Contacting business owners to organise charity functions - Travel editorials Researching information for conference tours. - Contacting magazine companies- profile to organise advertisement and articals. Plus many other jobs which were required to keep the business running to its full potential.
