Backcountry Guide/ Markerting	Rawhide Creek Ranch	From September 2013 To November 2015
I was in charge of keeping the books and being organized for the arrival of clients. I was responsible for the safety of my client as well as the wilderness we were trekking through. During this time, I would track big game animals down while giving my client the best opportunity for harvesting the animal. I was in charge of controlling proper population management on 75,000 acres of private land. While on the job, I would constantly educate clients on the ecosystem in our area and how nature works together. I also become a skilled marksman and gun safety handler. I got expert experience in shotguns, rifles, and handguns. While on the job, I had to occasionally manage human interaction with black bears and wolves. I would average 15 miles per day in the backcountry while navigating during all weather conditions including rain, snow, and lightning storms. I have had to use vocal noise and rubber bullets to keep clients safe from black bears. In charge of the Rawhide Website and Social media outlets.

I independently worked on invasive fruit fly traps throughout Ventura County, CA. I was issued government uniform and vehicle for the job. I had constant communication with the public about the reasoning behind the project as well as educating the public about the issues and problems with invasive fruit flies. I had to uphold a professional appearance and attitude when on the job due to government uniform and operating government vehicles. On the job, I came across many people of the public who wanted information on the extent of the project and the possible effects on the fruit trees. I constantly had to educate the public with solutions to help the life of their fruit trees and keep balance in the ecosystem. I entered data into an existing database. I guided others on how to reach a scientific conclusion with the invasion of invasive fruit flies.
Fish biologist	National Park service	From May 2013 To October 2013
I worked with a team in the research and eradication of invasive fish from Grayling Creek. I was trained in the use of hazardous chemicals including Rotenone. I was stationed in Mammoth Hot Springs in the North section of Yellowstone National Park. I independently educated the public on the project and the reasoning behind the projects goal. The reintroduction of the Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout involved a big part of educating the visitors to the park with the goal of having the visitors understand why the killing of invasive fish was a part of the project. Treatment of Grayling Creek included walking long distances, up to 10 miles a day through backcountry, carrying heavy loads through unsafe walking conditions, as well as hiking long distances with hazardous materials on a pack frame. Other projects were located very close to public, visitor roads. This had the extra responsibility to keep the public safe and educated. I entered data that we gathered in the backcountry into an existing database. I guided others on how to reach a scientific conclusion based on the data analysis. Worked side by side with bear management crew while in the backcountry. First had experience with using visual and vocal noise to keep safe.
