When and where did you learn to surf?
Scheveningen The Netherlands.
What do you love about surfing?
Freedom and leaving all lifs thoughts behind and just let you instinct run with it.
What is your favourite board?
6.3 hellrazor.
Where is your favourite surfspot?
Middles, Kuta.
What did you do for work before starting your surf shop?
Insurance.
What led you to opening up your store?
The bad Board advice I kept getting at the onter shops in Holland.
What do you like most about your work?
Making sure people have a blast in the water inspite of themselves (people buy too small too soon).
Can you tell me about your work importing and distributing surf brands?
I bought a Hippytree shirt in oz that I consequently wore for 2 years before I thought.... A, good quallity B,where can I get it. After ordering direct from the states and asking If they had a European distributor. I felt It was time to act. Good call.
What are you most grateful for?
Love, life and a well built body to get me though the screw-ups hahaha.
Whats next for you?
Building the Hippytree brand on a healthy shop selection and adding new product groups to my Distribution network.(looking for a good shoe brand.)
