Summary of Experience

Since completing my BFA at FIT I have been working in the men's ready-to-wear industry. My small-company experience has afforded me many exciting opportunities and valuable hands-on knowledge as fulfilling multiple roles has been necessary. Transitioning to the surf wetsuit industry has been a longtime goal. Growing up in the Caribbean provides a strong connection to the ocean. Surfing resonates with me and allows me to maintain that connection wherever I go, including here in New York City.

Assist in the design development process by preparing technical packs, creating linesheets, reviewing and commenting on lab dip / strike off / trim submits. Correspond daily with our overseas agents via email regarding sample development status. Responsible for specing and fitting samples. Sketch and render flats in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Assistant Designer	KaiD Utility/Thinctank	From June 2012 To July 2013
For Thinctank: Researched and created concept boards for seasonal collections, fashion, and color trends. Assisted with design and branding development for consulting projects and oversaw development and execution multipled categories; cut-and-sew knits, bottoms, and trims. Corresponded via email with our overseas agents and factories regarding sample development and sourcing. Traveled to Shanghai multiple times to meet with consulting client and merchandise their showroom for seasonal presentations and sales meetings. For Kai D. Utility: Updated and maintained website and fulfilled e-commerce sales. Composed monthly marketing and promotional emails. Responsible for styling and photographing products for e-commerce and marketing use.
