Not all job vacancies are advertised. Adding your resume on SurfCareers allows Companies to contact you as soon as they have positions become available.
If I put my resume onto SurfCareers are my name and contact details visible?
No. Our resume database displays your skills and experience but your name and contact details are not displayed. Employers and Recruiters can only access your contact details by requesting them from you via the website. You can accept or decline any request - so you are always in control of your details.
Do I need to add my resume to SurfCareers before applying for jobs?
No. You can apply for any job anytime with a word or pdf resume. Creating your resume on SurfCareers does make it much easier when applying for jobs.
Can see my job application history online?
Yes. When you login to your account, you can see a full history of your applications.
How fast is it to set up an account?
Very. Create an account and pay via credit card and you will be using the site within a few minutes.
I see resumes in the database I would like to contact, how do I contact the Job Seekers?
You need to be a paid up member to contact people from the resume database. Once you have paid you simply add resumes to your shortlist and request their contact details.
Is there a history of job applicants in my account?
Absolutely. All applications are emailed to you and in addition they are stored online in your secure account.
Can I add screening questions to my jobs?
Yes. You can create yes/no screening questions on each of your job ads. They are very effecting in reviewing candidates at a glance. These screening questions must be answered by the applicant when they apply. For example, "Do you have 3 years experience surfing the Maldives?", or "Do you have 5 years+ shaping experience?".
Is there a Business Directory where we can promote our company to job seekers?
Yes. Every advertisers who purchase any membership plan can list their business in this directory. SurfCareers users can learn more about your business, click through to your company web site, see and apply for your jobs.
Can I promote my company culture and news that is relevant to job seekers?
Yes. We have a company news section where you can post news relevant to candidates. They can learn more about your company and see that it is an awesome place to work.
